While the Indium Corporation Solder Paste Team is working hard at APEX in San Diego, the Indium Corporation Thermal Team is preparing for the Burn-In and Test Strategies Workshop the week of March 4th in Mesa, AZ. And just like APEX, we have a lot of involvement in this event.
On Sunday, Dave Saums will be presenting a tutorial entitled "Testing and Selecting Thermal Interface Materials for Semiconductor Burn-In and Test". Dave will examine the wide variety of burn-in thermal materials available, including metal TIMs offered by Indium Corporation. The event is offered on Sunday afternoon and will give a good perspective on all the options that are available.
On Monday morning, Indium Corporation is sponsoring the Keynote address by Gayn Erickson from Aehr Test Systems. This will kick off the next three days of presentations including another one from Indium Corporation entitled, "Choose Wisely: Mechanical Insertion and Thermal Peformance Testing Evaluation of Metallic TIMs for Semiconductor Test and Burn-in Applications" where we will share the latest test data on insertion rates.
And, of course, there is the BiTS Expo, which features a variety of vendors with products directed to the semiconductor burn-in and test market. We will have experts available on Monday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and Tuesday from 3:30PM to 6:30PM.
