I have always been a competitive person. That’s just the way I am, with everything I do. Whether it’s downhill ski racing, winning my next state championship, or sprints after football practice, I always want to be number one. To be number one, it takes more than just hard work and some talent.
One of the main keys to success is to never be satisfied. There’s always something you want that you don’t have, and there’s always someone wanting to take what you do have. Somewhere, there’s someone bigger, faster, stronger, smarter, and wealthier than you. I love to win, but I hate to lose most of all. That’s why I strive to be better at what I do every day, I push myself to be better than others and surpass my competition.
Whether you love to win or hate to lose, it’s important to know what motivates you and channel it to achieve your goal.
