CNY Manufacturer's Pledge Program
The Pledge is a powerful tool that helps create factual conditions upon which manufacturers make decisions. It includes these sections and topics:
- Employee temperatures and health
- Employee density
- Separation distances
- Social distancing
- Site traffic
- Site control
- Enhanced hygiene protocols
- On-site emergency response
- Enhanced communications
- And more
The Pledge is action-based: scalable to various organizational sizes, adaptable/customizable to various facility designs and operations, measurable, auditable, reportable, and transparent.
The Pledge provides guidance, information, data, and confidence.

Certification Program Process
- Step 1: Company initiates activities in alignment with The Pledge
- Step 2: Company notifies MACNY of signed pledge and requests date for review
- Step 3: MACNY coordinates a connection with a resource from a peer participating organization
- Step 4: Company and peer meet, review company program, review key elements, look for areas of improvement, mutually agree on alignment with The Pledge
- Step 5: Company & resource certifies back to MACNY that the review occurred and resulted in mutual agreement of alignment with The Pledge
Requirements
- Each participating company is expected to provide 1 or more resources to the MACNY pool
- Each resource will need to be available for at least one 2-hour engagement with a participating peer company
