My name is Tom Donovan and I'm going to be a sophmore at Clarkson University studying Engineering and Management. I was aware of Indium Corporation's intern program and I heard good things from past interns, so I decided to apply for a couple of the internships. I was lucky enough to get the Production Liaison Internship under Jim MacPherson where I hope to gain work experience to give a good start to my career.
I did not know a lot about Indium before I started. But, after the orientation day, I found out that there is a lot more to Indium than just making really small metal pieces. At orientation we were all together as a group of interns. This provided a fun enviornment and made it a lot easier to start working knowing that everyone else in the room is in the exact same position. Indium really did a good job at bringing us into the company and making us feel welcome and wanted. I'm sure things will continue along this path for the rest of the summer.
Regards,
Tom Donovan
