Indium Corporation Manufacturing Facilities Earn IATF-16949:2016

  • I am incredibly proud to announce that Indium Corporation has now earned new International Automotive Quality Recognition (IATF) 16949:2016 management system certificates for five of our global solder manufacturing facilities, and our company headquarters.

    Indium Corporation has always placed significant importance on the quality of our products and exceptional technical support, From One Engineer to Another®. This certification lends third-party credibility to the fact that our soldering materials are produced with the utmost quality to ensure the reliability of our customers’ finished goods.

    It is a great honor to recognize our following facilities:

    • Indium Corporation’s headquarters and manufacturing operations in Clinton, NY, USA, earned certification for the design and manufacture of solder powders, solder pastes, soldering fluxes, epoxies, and related materials for semiconductor manufacturing and electronics assembly.
    • Indium Corporation’s Business Park Drive facility in Utica, NY, USA, earned a certificate for the design and manufacture of brazing and solder materials as ribbon, wire, preforms, and engineered solders; flux-coated materials; NanoFoil®; sputtering target bonding; and pure indium metal and fabricated indium metals for electronics assembly.
    • Indium Corporation’s Milton Keynes, UK, facility earned a certificate for the design and manufacture of solder paste.
    • Indium Corporation’s Singapore facility earned a certificate for the design and manufacture of solder fluxes and solder pastes for semiconductor manufacturing and electronics assembly.
    • Indium Corporation’s facility in Suzhou, China, earned a certificate for the design and manufacture of solder fluxes and solder pastes for semiconductor manufacturing and electronics assembly.

    The standards that IATF-16949 represent—providing high-quality products with no defects, improving customer satisfaction, integrating processes, and utilizing evidence-based decision making—strengthen customer trust and reliability and enforce our commitment to an internal culture of improvement as we continue to evolve and grow.
