Folks,
I had lunch last week with some colleagues that work for a large electronics manufacturer in the US. I asked how RoHS compliance was going. The answer:
1. No big problems, some issues with logistics (e.g. supposed RoHS compliant parts not being compliant.)
2. Still a little nervous about long term reliability, but no data yet to say it is a problem.
I don't want their apparent "smooth sailing" to make light of their efforts. They were one of the companies that took RoHS and WEEE seriously and started working on it early.
