As I sit here in my office watching the sun setting on a cold February day in New Hampshire, I am reminded that we have less than 17 months to get ready for RoHS. I am still surprised how blaise many seem to be about this epic event, culminating in the RoHS implementation date of 1 July 2006. Most industry "pundits" believe that it will be the most disruptive event in the history of electronic manufacturing, perhaps all of manufacturing.
Some companies like Motorola, have been working on RoHS preparedness for more than 5 years. They will be ready. How about you?
