A WEEE disassembly facility opened in Hungary on November 20. Its 2000 ton capacity (2 million kilogram) means that it can support recycling for 500,000 people, since the EU mandates that 4 kg/year-person is the recycling target.
I have felt for some time that recycling will be a big business. The recycling companies will charge to recycle, yet my friends at Sea View Technologies tell me that they can recycle material and a make a profit.
Hmmm, as I have been saying all along, whenever there are disruptions like WEEE/RoHS fortunes can be lost and made.
