First off, I would like to say how grateful I am to be an intern here at the Indium Corporation. This is a great oppurtunity and I look forward to learning many things.
I was born and raised in Utica, NY, USA. So, being able to work at a company like Indium, which has such strong roots in my hometown, is great. I'm a Mechanical Engineering major at SUNY Polytechnic Institute currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science. After this summer, I will be starting my senior year. This is quite an exciting time for me, as one chapter of my life comes to an end and another begins.
During my time as a Production Engineering Intern at Indium, I would like to be able to learn more about the real world side of engineering that a classroom can't provide. I hope to achieve useful experience that will help make me more marketable as I start to look for jobs after I graduate. I also look forward to being a part of many important projects that will help make a difference at Indium.
Best Regards,
Dave
